Our First Look at Godzilla From Legendary Pictures

It seems that the mistakes made by Legendary Pictures with Pacific Rim aren't going to to be repeated on the production of 2014's Godzilla. Even though the film isn't slated 'til later, Legendary has visibly amped up their promotional efforts at this year's San Diego Comic Con, going as far as creating an impressive monster-damaged Tokyo within the California city. In addition, Deadline.com revealed this first glimpse of the classic monster and it seems...well, classic. 

 

What do you think? Personally, I was content with Pacific Rim's homage to Japanese films as opposed to importing and remaking Gojira again. I'm already predicting that the better film lost.
