Keeping consistency with his Wu Tang Clan co-founders, Ghostface Killah (AKA Ghostdeini AKA Pretty Tony AKA...Tracy Morgan's cousin?) loves to frequently drop pop references into his rhymes. Since his 1996 solo debut, IronMan (note the slight word alteration for copyright reasons), Ghost has been fictionalizing his playboy antics as "Tony Starks," flamboyant rapper by day and utterly untouchable rapper by night.
In a perfect world, Ghostface and Marvel Studios would have crossed paths. Turns out they did in 2008. Sharp listeners will recognize the following track, "Slept on Tony," from the private jet scene early in Iron Man. The film never got an official pop soundtrack, however, it made an appearance on the Ghostdeini The Great album that same year.
BONUS: Ghostface Killah actually makes an appearance in the first Iron Man. In the following deleted scene, Tony and Ghost meet up in Dubai to exchange rich people problems. I can see why the scene got cut out but still...pretty cool.
