Yes Ma'am Monday - Sigourney Weaver
Posted on 21:06 by gllapsi
Ma'am /mam/ noun
- term of respectful or polite address used for a woman.
- term of address for a ranking female officer.
- term utilized for a person of the female gender that just saved your sorry butt from a horde of genetically mutated Nazi undead super soldiers.
From Alien (1979) to Ghostbusters (1984) to Galaxy Quest (1999) to Avatar (2009), Sigourney Weaver has an extensive career of action awesomeness. As comfortable in an evening gown as she is in 22nd century space garb, she has consistently brought forth strength, beauty and intense acting skills.
The career span of an average Hollywood starlet is more fleeting than a meteor's entry into Earth's atmosphere. However, Ms. Weaver? A proven track record of traveling at warp speed, working with ghost busters, battling aliens, and even portraying an alien. She would never be someone to which you'd utter the words "Sure babe." By her very nature, one would be compelled to say,"Yes, ma'am."
