Cassandra Peterson has been a Las Vegas dancer. She dated Elvis. She's been in a Fellini film. It's even thought that she posed for a Tom Waits album cover, but when asked about it, she states,"I don't remember having done it. But of course, I don't remember a lot of stuff I did in the 70s!"
However, to everyone here at Action A Go Go, and to most everyone else on this third stone from the sun, she will always be known as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark!
She had a birthday this week, but it's impolite to reveal the age of a lady, so suffice it to say, we are eternally grateful for her humor, her smile, her spark of life...and her choice of clothing.
