In real life, explosions are generally bad things. They're usually unplanned and involve extreme levels of heat and flying debris that can result in loss of life or limb. Best to be prevented and avoided.
However, there is a primal, innate love of the beauty of things blowing up. Well, at least for some of us anyway.
And that's where the awesomeness of Hollywood comes into play. Amazing pyrotechnics can be had, nobody gets hurt, and we still get that endorphin rush.
It's Friday and the weekend is about to commence. So, start it with a smile by kicking back, going full screen and turning up the speakers.
Here are sixty five explosions, in under three minutes, accompanied by the awesomeness that is known as Johnny Cash.
Time to enjoy the power and grandeur of movie magic.
Time to not think.
Time to simply say,"Whoa. That was awesome."
