Am eagerly awaiting the release of Gravity (2013) starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, which hits theaters tomorrow. The idea of space, along with its danger and allure, is coursing rather heavily through my neural pathways at the moment.
There are over seven billion minds on this planet, all with their own interests. I guess the biggest trends in fascination (aside from reproduction!) would be sports, politics and food.
However, me? Completely fascinated with space. Yeah, yeah, I know, overall it's a large void that would kill one within a minute and a half if exposed to it directly.
But space means potential. The unexplored. Fascinating beauty and anomalous phenomena that help reshape how one may see things on our own little third stone from the sun. It constantly alters perspective for the better.
Please find below some amazing work from the truly gifted artist Long Pham who goes by the moniker Heaven Will on deviantart.com. If you're viewing this on a smartphone, I'd highly recommend checking these pics out in high-def on a large screen, and be sure to double-click on an image to get a full screen view. The attention to detail is phenomenal.
You can see more of his art, and learn more about the man himself, by clicking here: Heaven Will deviantART profile.
He can also be followed on Facebook here.
Enjoy the visual bliss!
