He'd just returned from a ComicCon and stated,"Man. There are just some things some people shouldn't wear."
I pulled out my soap box, stood upon it with pride and righteousness to proclaim,"Dude. Geek culture is about inclusion. Anyone should be able to wear whatever they want. Everyone from a petite, blonde 16 year old girl all the way up to a 300 pound dude can be Wonder Woman if they want."
However, I went to my first ComicCon not too long ago. After being there a few hours, I found the friend with whom I'd had the debate. I walked up to him, shook his hand and stated,"Dude. Yes. You were right. I was wrong. There ARE some things certain people should not wear."
Fortunately, such occurances are anomalies. Most people have their acts together when it comes to cosplay.
And then there is the highest stratum. The people that have turned it into an art form, such as Giorgia, of whom you'll find pics below.
If you'd like to check out more of her work, you can find it here at deviantART. She even has an app!
Thanks for your awesomeness Giorgia!
